#4795 closed defect (outdated)

wx.ProgressDialog is not modal on Mac OS X

Reported by: manpreet Owned by: csomor
Priority: high Milestone:
Component: old wxOSX/Carbon port Version:
Keywords: Cc: manpreet, csomor
Blocked By: Blocking:
Patch: no

wx.ProgressDialog does not honor wx.PD_APP_MODAL flag and the parent application can be made to come to foreground.
Any other events can be issued when this happens while the ProgressDialog is still running ( being Pulse()ed or Update()d ). The issue can be easily seen in the wxPython demo's ProgressDialog demo on Mac OS X Tiger. with wxPython and Python 2.4+ .

Running dialogs sample under Cocoa and bringing the wxProgressDialog you can't go back to the application. Dialog is modal.

Ticket is not reproducible and can be closed.
