#11159 closed defect (fixed)

Printing limited by wxHTML_PRINT_MAX_PAGES

Reported by: hugues Owned by:

I use wx.html.HtmlPrintout and so on, but I am limited to 999 pages and I need more.
For the moment, I cut the print in severals parts but I prefer only one !...
I have found in "include/wx/html/htmldefs.h" : "#define wxHTML_PRINT_MAX_PAGES 999".
Is it possible to override it, when I launch the application ?
I have already asked this to wxPython mailing list, but Robin Dunn said that it's a wxwidgets question.
If it is not possible to override, is it possible to suggest for a new version in the future to modify this parameter ?
I think 9999 would be enough for me !...

Thanks, in advance, for your reply.

(In [65076]) Remove hard limit on number of pages in wxHtmlPrintout.

This seems to be a leftover from an old version in which the page breaks
positions were stored in a fixed size array. As the code uses a dynamic array
now there doesn't seem to be any reason to impose any limit on the number of
pages and some people did run into the old 999 pages limitation apparently.

Closes #11159.
